Python · Question 22 · Medium

What will be the output of the following Python code?

print(*map(lambda x: x % 3, [7, 8, 9]), sep="-")
  1. 7-8-9
  2. 1 2 0
  3. 1-2-0
  4. [1, 2, 0]
Answer and explanation

Answer: C. 1-2-0

Explanation: map gives 7 % 3 = 1, 8 % 3 = 2 and 9 % 3 = 0. The * unpacks them as separate arguments to print, which joins them with sep="-".
