Eight friends Pooja, Qadir, Rohan, Sneha, Tarun, Uma, Vivek and Yash sit around a circular table facing the centre. Rohan sits opposite Uma. Pooja sits third to the left of Rohan. Sneha sits immediately to the right of Pooja. Tarun sits second to the left of Uma. Vivek is not an immediate neighbour of Rohan. Yash sits immediately to the left of Tarun.

Explanation: Going round to the left (clockwise) from Rohan: Rohan, Qadir, Sneha, Pooja, Uma, Vivek, Tarun, Yash. Pooja is 3rd to Rohan's left with Sneha on her right; Uma is opposite Rohan, Tarun 2nd to Uma's left and Yash on Tarun's left; Vivek cannot sit next to Rohan, so he takes the seat between Uma and Tarun and Qadir the seat beside Rohan. To Vivek's right are Uma, then Pooja, then Sneha.
