Statements:
Some teachers are coaches.
No coach is a trainer.
Conclusions:
I. All teachers being trainers is a possibility.
II. Some trainers being teachers is a possibility.
Assuming the statements to be true, which conclusion(s) is/are possible?

  1. Only I is possible
  2. Only II is possible
  3. Both I and II are possible
  4. Neither I nor II is possible
Answer and explanation

Answer: B. Only II is possible

Explanation: The teachers who are coaches can never be trainers, so all teachers being trainers is impossible (I). Teachers who are not coaches may be trainers, so II is possible.
